You read the title right, we now have chickens. How did this happen? We were at Tractor Supply looking for ramps to make it easier to get the dirt bike in and out of the truck. Some how this lead to the purchase of 4 chickens.
So we are going on week two and two of the chickens have almost doubled in size. The other two bantam chickens and will not grow as big as the other. So this will be one adventure that I am sure will give me plenty of things to blog about.
I am going to try and keep the updates one a weekly basis as not to flood my blog with nothing but chickens. Right now they are still in the brooding stage, but I will give it another two weeks before we will be purchasing our first chicken coop. Trust me, in only the first few weeks that we have had the chickens, they have brought some excitement to the house.
